Program for International Student Assessment (PISA)
On April 16, 2012, some of our students will participate in a Canadian and international assessment program that will measure the abilities of 15 year-olds (students born between January 1st, 1996 and December 31st, 1996) in mathematics, science and reading. Canada is one of over 60 countries and economies taking part in this program. The Canadian partners of this program are the ministries and departments of education of all provinces through the Council of Ministers of Education, Canada (CMEC), Statistics Canada (StatCan) and Human Resources and Skills Development Canada (HRSDC). The PISA survey will provide important information on how our schools are preparing our young people for their future.
